Job Summary
The Teller serves as a lobby/drive-thru teller. This individual will be based at the Irving branch and must be polished and professional at all times. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, courteous, friendly, detail oriented, flexible and dependable.

Job Responsibilities:

  • All Teller duties at the Irving branch.
  • Scanning and balancing teller work through branch capture daily.
  • Assisting bank customers with a variety of questions about their deposit accounts.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 1 + years of Bank Teller required
  • High school or GED equivalent required

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer contact skills; strong listening skills; comfortable asking customer’s questions.
  • Ability to manage a displeased customer.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, performs well in a team environment
  • Professional, thorough and organized; able to follow standard operating policies and procedures
  • Ability to learn products, services and procedures quickly and accurately and explain concepts clearly to customers
  • Ability to react quickly to changing environment and various job duties required.
  • Proficiency with 10 key touch, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications (Fiserv Premiere).
  • Outstanding listening and communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math proficiency with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in order to help customers with their transactions and balance teller drawer.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
